Assistant Financial Accountant

This supportive and fast-paced team is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them! The role requires someone who is adaptable, looking for a dynamic environment and is ideally studying (or looking to study) towards their CA or CPA. Fantastic opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant looking to progress into a Financial Accountant position.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of the financial accounting team, your role will include, however may not be limited to;

• High volume reconciliations and journal posting
• Support stocktakes and variance analysis
• Review P&L and GL - identifying and escalating issues as required
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc analysis and finance tasks
• Assist with half-year and year-end audit requirements

You will be an Assistant Accountant with a couple of years experience in a similar role and, ideally, studying your CA/CPA. You will have high volume reconciliations experience from a medium/large size organisation and excellent attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a team environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
