Finance Manager

We are currently partnering with a purpose-driven Not-for-Profit organisation to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the organisation’s financial operations.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a purpose-led environment and wants their expertise to contribute to more than just the numbers.


Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the day-to-day financial operations and reporting
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
• Preparing accurate monthly and management reports
• Supporting the annual budgeting and planning process
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Managing compliance, audit and statutory reporting requirements
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functions
• Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and controls
• Leading and developing finance team members

You will be an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of financial management and reporting, ideally gained within a Not-for-Profit, community, health, social services or other purpose-led environment.

You will bring:

• Strong technical accounting and financial management skills
• Experience across budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to translate financial information into clear, practical insights
• Experience managing and developing a finance team
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification is desirable
