About Us: BNR Partners is a specialist accounting practice located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne who practice in the taxation of estates and trusts. We are the market leader in our field, working on a national scale, exclusively with listed trustee companies, direct referrals from legal practices and by court appointment. In addition to providing taxation and financial compliance services, we act in an advisory capacity on many complex estate taxation matters referred to us by the legal fraternity. Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our growing portfolio of clients. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist practice and develop a broader skill set through collaboration with our referral partners and exposure to sensitive estate taxation matters. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and have the opportunity to grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Provide support to incoming calls. • Collate and record inbound and outbound mail, including ATO correspondence. • Work collaboratively within the administration team in the shared mailbox to managing incoming enquiries/tasks • Database management including setting up new clients, conducting proof of identity checks and maintaining records. • Manage invoicing and debtor follow-ups. • Collating documents for signature and subsequent lodgement with the ATO • Schedule meetings and manage calendars. • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Keys to Success – Required Attributes: • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm. • Superb attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively. • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed. • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness when handling sensitive information. • Experience with MYOB AE is highly regarded.
