This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory, compliance or product certification professional with experience in a consumer technical product environment to play a key role in ensuring products successfully meet local regulatory requirements and enter the market on time.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for managing product approvals and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable Australian and New Zealand legislation, regulatory frameworks and AS/NZS standards.

  • Play a critical role in ensuring products meet the regulatory requirements necessary to reach the market

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the end-to-end product approval and certification lifecycle across Australia and New Zealand
  • Initiating, coordinating, supervising and monitoring product approvals with relevant regulatory authorities and certification bodies
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Australian and New Zealand technical approval standards, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with global Product Division and Factory Product Development teams to support the successful launch of new products into the AU/NZ market
  • Partnering with local Category Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure products are appropriately developed and positioned for the Australian and New Zealand markets
  • Monitoring emerging standards, regulatory changes and legislative developments, assessing their potential impact on the product portfolio
  • Managing multiple concurrent certification and compliance activities across a diverse product portfolio
  • Building effective relationships with regulators, third-party certification bodies, testing laboratories and external service providers
About You:

You will be a proactive and commercially minded product compliance professional who enjoys working in a technical, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
A degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

To be successful, you will have:
