We're seeking a SIPs Shaper/Production Laborer to join our production team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll help manufacture and finish Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) used in construction projects. The ideal candidate has previous construction, carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing experience and is comfortable using hand and power tools, reading measurements, and performing hands-on production work. What You'll Be Doing As a SIPs Shaper/Production Laborer, your core responsibilities will include: Shape Finish Panels: Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and finish Structural Insulated Panels according to specifications. Read Measurements Blueprints: Accurately read a tape measure and follow blueprints to ensure products are built correctly. Inspect Product Quality: Check finished panels for quality and accuracy before they are prepared for shipment. Material Handling: Move and handle materials throughout the production process as needed. Production Support: Assist with production activities to maintain workflow and meet daily production needs. Safety Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work area while following established safety procedures. What We're Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous construction, carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing experience. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to remain on your feet and physically active throughout the shift. Ability to work 4:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, with Friday overtime as needed. Skills Tape Measure Reading: Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure products meet specifications. Hand Power Tools: Comfortable safely and effectively using a variety of tools to shape and finish panels. Blueprint Reading: Ability to follow blueprints and specifications to produce accurate finished products. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and following production requirements. Physical Stamina: Ability to remain active throughout the shift and safely handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other production team members to meet daily goals. Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout the shift.
