Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Healthcare industry to hire an Assistant Sales Manager. This role supports the execution of sales strategies while overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales team. It contributes directly to revenue growth by driving team performance, managing key accounts, and strengthening relationships with healthcare stakeholders. This opportunity is based in Johor Bahru.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing effective plans to meet sales objectives.
• Team Leadership: Managing, mentoring, and motivating sales team to enhance their performance.
• Market Analysis: Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Setting individual and team sales KPIs, analysing sales data, and providing regular performance reports to senior management.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, pharmacy, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry.
• Possesses experience in leadership or supervisory roles is crucial for effectively managing and motivating a sales team.
Technical / Functional Expertise
• Possesses good analytical ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions.
• Competence in developing and implementing sales strategies that align with company objectives.
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to inspire and drive a sales team towards achieving targets.
• Results driven and ability to work independently.
