Job Description: Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Our client in Fort Lauderdale is seeking experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operators to join their production team. This position involves sewing and assembling aviation seat belts and restraint systems while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and precision.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, join, and reinforce seat belt and restraint materials, ensuring durability and compliance with aviation industry standards.
- Position, align, and secure fabric, webbing, and other materials under machine needles to achieve accurate stitching and assembly.
- Follow work orders, patterns, and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.
- Adjust machine settings, including tension, stitch length, and speed, based on material type and production requirements.
Quality Control & Inspection
- Inspect materials before and after sewing to ensure proper alignment, stitching accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, including changing needles, threading machines, and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines required.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
- Experience with heavy-duty materials, webbing, or safety restraint products is a plus.
Benefits

- Monday through Friday workweek.
- Salary $17.00 p/hr
