Switchgear Operator

Overview

Join our team as a vital contributor responsible for operating and maintaining switchgear equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Candidates should be physically capable of performing tasks involving repetitive motion and lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain switchgear equipment following work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Perform tasks involving heavy lifting and pushing of 50-100 pounds.
• Utilize various hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and wire crimpers.
• Operate machines and equipment including terminating machines, electric cutting saws, and conveyors.
• Maintain regular attendance and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to learn and understand SFA transmittals and drawings.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn Liebert Enterprise Software.
• Physically able to turn repetitively and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in operating switchgear or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
