Christy Media Solutions is partnering with an established technology company seeking a PCB Layout Designer to join its hardware development team.
This opportunity focuses on the design of complex high-speed PCB layouts for FPGA and embedded systems used within professional technology environments. Working closely with hardware engineers and production teams, you will contribute to the development of sophisticated electronic products while helping ensure exceptional design quality and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complex multilayer PCBs for FPGA and embedded systems
- Develop high-speed layouts including DDR, HDMI, SDI, Ethernet, PCIe, USB and related interfaces
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams
- Support design optimisation for manufacturability and product quality
- Contribute to signal integrity and power integrity considerations
- Work across a broad portfolio of innovative technology products
Requirements
- Commercial PCB layout design experience
- Strong experience using Cadence Allegro
- Experience designing high-speed digital PCBs
- Ability to identify and resolve PCB layout issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- English language proficiency
Desirable Experience
- FPGA-based hardware environments
- SI/PI simulation experience
- German language skills
- Broadcast, audio, video or transmission technology exposure
- Experience with DDR, HDMI, SDI or other high-speed interfaces
