As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will be a vital part of the team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing Baiada's commitment to quality in poultry processing. This position offers consistent and full-time hours.
About the Role:
As the QA Officer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit preparation and participation.
- Verify monitoring activities during production and review completed daily paperwork.
- Prepare product samples for laboratory testing and analyse lab results.
- Perform data entry, filing, and reporting related to quality and hygiene.
- Conduct end of shelf life product evaluations.
- Evaluate both fresh and frozen products for quality and compliance
Requirements:
- Food Technology degree/qualification (preferred, but not essential)
- Excellent communications skills
- Comfortable working around raw poultry
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
