Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer Portland, VIC | Site-Based Role | 12-Month Contract

Join a major industrial operation and play a key role in delivering a portfolio of engineering and capital projects. Working in a site-based environment, you will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, managing multiple projects, and driving outcomes in a dynamic operational environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and procurement activities.
• Supporting the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of projects.
• Ensuring designs and project outcomes align with approved engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating technical reviews across engineering disciplines.
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting project schedule, cost control, and delivery performance.
• Managing multiple projects through various stages of the project lifecycle.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience as a Project Engineer within industrial, manufacturing, mining, energy, resources, or heavy industry environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating or supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced project environment.
