We are seeking a Junior / Graduate Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team at a waste recycling facility in the southside of Cork city.
As a Junior / Graduate Maintenance Technician you will have a sound interested in mechanical maintenance with an aptitude to get machines working.
Key Responsibilities:
To maintain and repair all machines and ancillary equipment in the recycling plant
Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise production disruption.
A practical approach to fault finding troubleshoot faults on conveyors and mobile equipment.
Maintain a safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
Ability to work and integrate with the maintenance team.
Hours of work are generally straight days e.g. 8:00 am to 17:00 or 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday with some flexibility required at times. Saturday work will also be available.
