Job Title: Utility Technician
Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (2 Filling)
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2 Filling)
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (2 Filling)
Manufacturing 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1 Filling)
Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (1 Filling)
Job Summary:
The Utility Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. Duties include general housekeeping, removing and storing empty pallets and recyclable materials, cleaning filling lines and production equipment, and completing other tasks or special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Previous janitorial/custodial experience and manufacturing experience are preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general housekeeping and cleaning throughout the facility.
Remove and store empty pallets and recyclable materials.
Clean filling lines, tanks, pumps, filters, hoses, dispensing equipment, and related production areas according to scheduled maintenance.
Complete sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, around paint odors, dust, noise, and manufacturing equipment.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary.
