Job Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial and industrial cleaning throughout the plant

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and clean floors and work areas

• Remove trash, debris, dust, and other materials from designated areas

• Clean around production and manufacturing areas as directed

• Wipe down surfaces, equipment exteriors, walls, workstations, and other designated areas

• Assist with detailed cleaning and organization throughout the facility

• Maintain clean aisles, walkways, common areas, and designated workspaces

• Dispose of trash and cleaning materials properly

• Follow all plant safety procedures and cleaning instructions

• Work with the team to ensure assigned areas are completed and ready for the upcoming audit

• Perform other cleaning and facility-support duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing/industrial plant environment

• Steel-toe shoes or boots are required

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift

• Must be dependable and able to report to work as scheduled for the duration of the project

• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions

• Previous janitorial, industrial cleaning, housekeeping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
