Redpath Partners is exclusively partnering with a well-established and growing construction contractor/ consultancy in Queenstown to appoint an experienced Project Manager.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-end projects across various sectors including commercial, fitout, wellness and hospitality, supported by structured systems, strong leadership, and a professional delivery culture. With an established pipeline, and ongoing steady generation of new and exciting projects, they are now looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.

The Role
This role will see you take responsibility for the planning, delivery, and successful completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered in line with programme, cost, and quality expectations.

You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients, managing the overall delivery process while maintaining strong project controls and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing projects from planning through to completion
  • Overseeing programme, procurement, and delivery timelines
  • Managing project financials including variations and progress claims
  • Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Leading project meetings and maintaining reporting and documentation
  • Identifying project risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
  • Proven experience delivering commercial construction or commercial fitout/refurb projects as a Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, ideally NZS3910
  • Experience managing project budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Proficient in MS Office and project programming software
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
