Ops Manager

Fully Remote | €65,000–€75,000

We’re partnering with an exciting, growing business to recruit an Operations Manager to join their fully remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive operator who enjoys bringing structure to a business, improving processes and making a tangible impact.

With a team of approximately 25 people, the business is looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day operations, supporting both finance and HR functions, with a particular focus on finance operations. This role offers the opportunity to step in, take responsibility and make an immediate impact.

The Role

Reporting to the COO, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the finance team you’ll provide essential operational support while overseeing a range of HR and wider business activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Finance Operations: Support the CFO and finance team with day-to-day operational requirements, ensuring processes run efficiently and the team has what it needs to succeed.
• HR Operations: Coordinate and manage day-to-day HR processes, helping ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Team & Business Logistics: Organise team logistics and coordinate the practicalities that keep a fully remote business running effectively.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies and introduce better ways of working.
• AI & Technology: Make effective use of AI tools and emerging technologies to automate tasks, improve productivity and enhance operational processes.
• General Business Support: Take ownership of operational priorities, anticipate requirements and ensure important tasks are followed through to completion.

Requirements:

We’re keen to speak with candidates who are practical, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business where no two days are necessarily the same.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a similar Operations Manager or business operations role within a small or medium-sized company.
• Strong experience across finance operations, with additional exposure to HR operations.
• Experience working in a fully remote environment and the ability to manage your workload independently.
• A proactive approach to AI, automation and using technology to work smarter.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong initiative, sound judgement and a common-sense approach to problem-solving.
• A hands-on mindset, someone who rolls up their sleeves, takes ownership and gets things done.
• The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and support a finance function without needing to manage a team directly.
