Job Description:
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician I with mechanical and electrical experience to maintain and repair baggage handling equipment at San Diego International Airport.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot baggage handling systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
Complete maintenance and safety reports.
Update maintenance schedules.
Follow all safety and airport requirements.
Requirements:
1–2 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
Pay: $23–$25/hour.
High school diploma or GED.
Mechanical troubleshooting experience with belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gearmotors.
Electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V three-phase systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Knowledge of VFDs, motor starters, PLCs, and control systems.
Basic computer and maintenance software skills.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Must pass background and airport security checks.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
