Cost Accountant

Are you an experience Cost Accountant with a background in manufacturing, steel or engineering sectors?

Do you have at least 5 year's experience in that role?

Are you CEMA qualified or have similar qualifications?

Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for a local manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Located close to the Park Way, our client is a growing manufacturing company with a plan to double in size over the next 5 years. Working under the Financial Director, they are looking for a competent and experienced Cost Accountant who can work in conjunction with the Accounts Team. This opportunity has real opportunity for growth, development and future progression!

Main duties/responsibilities:

• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
• Experience in analysing and monitoring costs and stock.
• Knowledge of processes and payments related to engineering or manufacturing sectors.
• Good understanding in budgeting and risk management. 
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• An eye for detail in relation to cost discrepancies and variances in relation to debits and credits.
• Ideally have worked on Sage or similar software.

You will have:

• Experience as a Cost Accountant in Manufacturing, Engineering or Steel sectors.
• Ideally CEMA qualified or have similar experience or qualification
