Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineering professional to support a yield improvement project for the F414 EFC and EHSV product lines. This position will focus on repair development, technical documentation, process improvement, and supporting the implementation of approved solutions to improve Turnaround Time (TAT) and First Pass Yield (FPY).

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with strong technical documentation, process development, and repair/overhaul experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and research repair development technical requirements, including processes, procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Review regulatory and compliance requirements related to repair development, materials, equipment, facilities, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in identifying and coordinating solutions to improve TAT and FPY.
  • Support integration of approved solutions into existing processes and technical documentation.
  • Develop and complete Technical Publication Change Requests, temporary revisions, and full technical revisions.
  • Develop and complete Overhaul Repair Instructions.
  • Create and update repair processes and procedures documentation.
  • Develop and complete Technical Inspection Instructions.
  • Develop technical equivalencies for materials, tools, and equipment used in overhaul and repair activities.
  • Provide technical support and oversight to suppliers performing overhaul repair activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, repair/overhaul, quality, suppliers, and other technical teams to implement process improvements.
  • Research technical issues and help develop practical solutions to improve repair processes and manufacturing performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with technical documentation, engineering processes, or repair development.
  • Ability to research and interpret technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, quality, suppliers, and operations teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical documentation.
