Oracle Functional Specialist

Oracle EBS Functional Specialist |Brisbane or Toowoomba | Hybrid Working Arrangement

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Specialist to play a key role in supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) across Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Warehouse operations.
Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will act as the functional SME for critical Oracle modules, driving process improvements, system optimisation, and operational efficiency across a complex supply chain environment.
What You'll Be Doing

• Own and support Oracle EBS R12 modules including Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Work in Progress (WIP), and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Partner with Procurement and Warehouse teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for development and support teams
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test plans and assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations
• Provide Tier 2/3 functional support and troubleshoot complex Oracle EBS issues
• Improve inventory management, warehouse processes, material movements, cycle counting, and planning activities
• Develop user documentation and deliver end-user training to maximise adoption and system effectiveness

What We're Looking For Essential Experience

• Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS R12
• Expertise across Oracle Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory Management, WIP, and BOM modules
• Solid understanding of:
  • Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Blanket Purchase Agreements
  • Approval workflows and hierarchies
  • Supplier onboarding and management
  • Inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Shipping, receiving, and material planning processes
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders to deliver system improvements
• Australian Citizenship with the ability and willingness to obtain AGSVA Security Clearance

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Oracle WMS and Procurement modules
• SQL/PLSQL knowledge for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting
• Previous involvement in Oracle implementations, upgrades, or major enhancement projects
• Manufacturing or maintenance industry experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline
