The role:
Peoplebank are recruiting for a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant technology and operating model transformation. With a focus on modernising its technology function and enhancing service delivery capabilities, the organisation is investing in new structures, processes, and ways of working to support future business needs. Responsibilities:
As the Organisational Design Specialist, you will lead the development of detailed organisational structures that align with business objectives and support the successful transition to a future-state operating model.
You will engage with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and collaborate across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment between organisational design, technology strategy, and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design of future-state team structures within the IT function
• Define roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, and reporting relationships
• Develop role profiles, RACI matrices, and interaction models across technology teams
• Facilitate workshops with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to gather inputs and validate design outcomes
• Ensure organisational structures align with the target operating model and broader technology strategy
• Partner with program and business stakeholders to support implementation planning and organisational transition activities
• Identify and address organisational design risks, dependencies, and impacts
• Contribute to governance and decision-making processes across the transformation program

 
Key experience:

• Significant experience in organisational design, operating model design, or workforce transformation initiatives
• Proven experience developing detailed organisation structures, role frameworks, and accountability models
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working with senior executives and leadership teams
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and lead workstreams with minimal supervision
• Experience developing role profiles, RACIs, and interaction models
• A strong understanding of organisational design principles within complex enterprise environments
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced transformation setting
