I’m currently working with a highly regarded, award-winning design practice that is looking to appoint a Quality Systems Leader to take ownership of their Quality Management System and help drive a strong culture of quality across the business.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong background in quality systems and architecture/design who enjoys working collaboratively with technical teams and influencing how quality is embedded into everyday project delivery.

The Role You’ll be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the organisation’s Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing ISO 9001 compliance while working closely with teams across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and improving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Developing and maintaining practice standards, processes, templates and quality documentation.
  • Improving the quality, consistency and coordination of project documentation.
  • Reviewing and analysing client feedback to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
  • Working closely with project and technical teams to embed quality into everyday processes.
  • Supporting teams with quality requirements, systems and best practice.
  • Providing guidance and training to help build a shared responsibility for quality across the practice.
  • Identifying opportunities to use technology and innovation to improve quality processes and outcomes.
What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings:
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Previous experience within architecture and/or design is essential.
  • A background in a technical, quality or project delivery environment.
  • Strong understanding of documentation standards, coordination and project delivery processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to train, guide and support technical teams.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and risk reduction.
  • An interest in using technology and innovation to improve quality systems.
