The Organisation
Levyl is partnering with a large, complex and geographically dispersed organisation to appoint two experienced People & Culture Business Partners for an initial six-month fixed-term contract.
The organisation is progressing through a significant transformation program involving changes to its workforce, and operating structure. Consultation is already underway across multiple business areas, creating the need for additional business partnering capability during a critical period of change.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful and complex transformation program while working closely with senior leaders and an experienced People & Culture function.
The Team
Reporting to the Head of People Business Partners, you will join an established team of approximately six Business Partners located across NSW.
The team is experienced, collaborative and accustomed to working within a complex industrial environment. While each Business Partner is responsible for a designated portfolio, the team regularly shares knowledge, works through issues together and provides support across business areas when required.
You will be trusted to manage your portfolio with autonomy while remaining closely connected to the wider team through regular meetings and ongoing collaboration.
The Opportunity
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will take ownership of a designated business portfolio and work closely with executives, senior leaders and employees.
The role will combine significant organisational change activity with broader operational business partnering. A key focus will be guiding leaders through workforce consultation, and union engagement while ensuring agreed activity continues to progress in line with the appropriate obligations and timeframes.
Your role will be to guide, coach and support leaders through the required processes while carefully managing the impact on employees.

About You
Levyl is looking for accomplished People & Culture Business Partners who can quickly understand a complex operating environment, establish credibility and provide confident support with minimal direction within a unionised environment.
You will bring substantial end-to-end business partnering experience, including direct involvement in organisational change, workforce consultation and industrial relations. Experience working with unions and independently interpreting Enterprise Agreements is essential.
Experience gained within utilities, infrastructure, government, local council, manufacturing or another operational and highly unionised environment will be highly regarded. Industry experience is less important than demonstrated success supporting complex change within an Enterprise Agreement-covered workforce. Along with this, a practical and proactive working style will be critical! You will know which questions to ask, where to find the information you need and when to bring the right people together to progress an issue.

- Managing union engagement and formal consultation requirements
- Interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreement provisions and relevant industrial instruments
- Coaching leaders through sensitive decisions and challenging conversations
- Ensuring agreed change activity progresses effectively and within required timeframes
- Managing employee relations matters, complaints and workplace investigations as required
- Providing advice across performance, workforce planning and organisational design
- Supporting general People & Culture queries and day-to-day business partnering matters
- Collaborating with employee relations and other specialist People & Culture teams
