Industrial Maintenance Technician — Rochester, NY Direct Hire | Full-Time | A-Shift

$22.00 – $32.00/hour | Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime eligible

A growing Rochester manufacturer is looking for a mechanically sharp Maintenance Tech ready to own a wide variety of hands-on challenges — from troubleshooting production equipment and repairing pumps and motors to supporting installs and facility upgrades.

  • Day shift, consistent Monday–Friday schedule
  • Overtime available when you want the extra hours
  • Centrally located in Rochester NY

What you'll work on:

  • Maintain and repair production machinery, pumps, motors, and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools (multimeter, etc.)
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Collaborate on facility improvement and capital projects
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other mobile equipment safely
  • Develop creative fixes when OEM parts are on delay

Requirements:

  • Hands-on industrial maintenance experience — manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with pumps, pulleys, and motors (3-phase and single-phase, up to 100 HP)
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting technical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts in a production environment
  • Safety-minded, adaptable, willing to work OT when needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
