Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Our client is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team on a three-month contract with the possibility of extension. This is a hands-on role in the trades and services sector, ideal for a qualified tradesperson ready to apply their expertise in a dynamic heavy vehicle maintenance environment.

• Three-month contract with potential to extend, offering flexibility and opportunity
• Work with heavy vehicle systems and components in a professional trades setting
• Apply your Motor Mechanic qualifications and hands-on experience in a supportive team environment
• Provide an after hours rostered on-call service for the provision of urgent maintenance/repairs for appliances and heavy vehicles and equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre employment medical and National Police Check

Preferred Requirements

• Current Medium Rigid driver's licence
• Proven experience working as a tradesperson in a heavy vehicle mechanic environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across heavy vehicle systems
• Ability to work safely and follow workplace procedures and protocols
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering Tradesperson Certificate Level 1 in Motor Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Stream)
• Demonstrated competency in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
• Current or recent experience in a heavy vehicle workshop or fleet maintenance setting
