We are delighted to be working with a highly successful and growing charitable organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant & Board Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished EA who enjoys working at senior level and has strong experience supporting Boards, Trustees or Committees. Initially offered on a three-month temporary basis, there is real potential for the role to become permanent.
Working closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO, you’ll provide high-level executive support while taking responsibility for the smooth running of Board and Committee meetings. You’ll be joining a busy, professional and collaborative team and will regularly liaise with Board members, senior stakeholders and external contacts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive EA support to the CEO and Deputy CEO, including complex diary management, meetings and travel
- Coordinating the full Board and Committee meeting cycle, from scheduling and logistics through to follow-up
- Preparing, formatting and circulating Board and Committee papers
- Attending meetings and producing accurate, high-quality minutes
- Maintaining action logs and ensuring agreed actions are followed up
- Supporting the onboarding and induction of new Board members
- Liaising confidently with Trustees, senior executives and other high-level external stakeholders
- Managing shared inboxes and acting as a professional point of contact for the organisation
- Supporting governance, compliance and audit-related administration
- Assisting with research, reporting and ad hoc projects for the senior leadership team
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
About you
We’re looking for someone with substantial experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior PA, Board Administrator or similar, ideally with at least five years’ experience supporting senior or C-suite executives.
Crucially, you’ll need proven experience attending Board or Committee meetings and producing formal minutes. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable juggling competing priorities and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
You’ll also need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong diary and meeting coordination experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to work independently and use sound judgement
- A professional, discreet and adaptable approach
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start, so candidates will need to be available at short notice.
The role is based in Central London, with three days per week in the office and two days working from home.
