Pay: $19.00+/hour

About the Role

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support second-shift operations. This position is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, preparing orders for transport, and ensuring materials are processed correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate has previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting where accuracy and organization are important.

What You'll Do

Verify, document, and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare outbound shipments by assembling, labeling, packaging, and organizing materials for transport.

Receive, unpack, inspect, and accurately record incoming merchandise and materials.

Compare shipment contents against manifests, invoices, COAs, packing slips, and bills of lading.

Track shipment information including weights, charges, damages, discrepancies, and space availability.

Qualifications

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping records.

• Assist with locating missing or delayed shipments.

• Communicate shipment issues, damages, and nonconformance concerns to the shift supervisor.

• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials.

• Prepare work orders, bills of lading, routing instructions, and other required shipping documentation.

• Follow customer requirements and written specifications for outbound shipments.

• Review customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine required materials.

• Coordinate carrier pickups.

• Route materials to appropriate production departments.

• Follow established safety and shipping procedures.

• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with SAP and Smartsheet strongly preferred.

• Ability to safely operate PIT equipment / powered industrial trucks.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working a 2nd shift schedule beginning at 1:30 PM.
