The Opportunity
Looking to start or accelerate your career in technical sales?
An established and highly respected independent Water Treatment company is looking to recruit a Junior Account Manager to join its growing Yorkshire team. Covering Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region, you'll inherit an established customer base while learning from experienced industry professionals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either:
- A Chemistry or Biochemistry graduate looking to build a career in technical sales, or
- Someone already working within the Water Treatment industry (Service Engineer, Water Treatment Technician, Account Support, etc.) who wants to move into a customer-facing Account Management role.
The position has become available due to a resignation, offering a well-established territory and genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role
As Junior Account Manager, you will:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts across Yorkshire
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular site visits
- Learn how to advise clients on cooling tower and steam boiler water treatment programmes
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and win additional business
- Work closely with the technical team to deliver excellent customer service
- Manage your own diary and territory with support from an experienced management team
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships and wants to develop a successful career in technical sales.
You could be:
- A Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar Science graduate looking for your first commercial role
- Working within the Water Treatment industry and ready to take the next step into Account Management
- A confident communicator with a proactive attitude
- Eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career
- Based in or around Leeds or elsewhere within Yorkshire
- Holding a full UK driving licence
