Location: Aurora, IL 60502
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Contract Length: 90 Days (Potential Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Training: Provided
Interview Process: One Phone Interview (1–2 Interviewers)
Schedule: 7 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support warehouse inventory operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is responsible for maintaining clean automation zones, removing damaged materials, supporting inventory control processes, and ensuring a safe and organized work area.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment with varying temperature conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of automation and induction zones.
• Remove dirty trays and damaged materials from designated work areas.
• Record damaged inventory and report discrepancies.
• Perform inventory control functions to support daily warehouse operations.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse support activities as assigned.
• Operate basic machinery and warehouse equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain an organized work environment while supporting warehouse efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in multiple temperature-controlled environments, including:
  • Dry Warehouse
  • Cooler
  • Freezer
• Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to operate basic machinery and tools after training.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse distribution environment.
• Work is performed in dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas.
• Physically active role requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Flexible attitude required in an occasionally fast-changing environment.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
• No travel or weekend work is anticipated.
