Talent Quarter are seeking a Consultant Specialist in General (Internal) Medicine to join a leading tertiary referral and teaching hospital within one of Australia’s largest public health services. This position offers exposure to complex and varied medical presentations, strong academic engagement, and the opportunity to further develop your career within a dynamic and well-supported department, all located in a highly desirable coastal setting.

The Role

• Join a modern and expanding General Medicine department within a tertiary referral centre
• Exposure to a broad range of acute and chronic medical presentations
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient-centred care
• Strong consultant and trainee support within an accredited physician training environment
• Opportunities to participate in teaching, clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
• Part of a large public health service delivering care across metropolitan, regional, and remote communities

 
Remuneration & Benefits

• Total salary package: $450,000 – $560,000 per annum
• Relocation assistance provided

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General and Acute Care Medicine or equivalent
• Eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
• We are keen to hear from UK candidates who hold MRCP together with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Internal Medicine
