A Global Financial firm is seeking an experienced Regional Identity Operations Team Lead to lead Identity Operations across the Asia region, based in Tokyo. Reporting to the Global Manager of Identity Operations in London, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of Identity Services across Asia, ensuring reliable, secure, and consistent service delivery across the region. This is a senior technology leadership position combining Identity & Access Management expertise, operational excellence, people leadership, incident management, and collaboration with global technology teams.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the regional Identity Operations team across Asia
- Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and performance management to technical team members
- Develop team capabilities and promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage day-to-day Identity Operations activities and ensure consistent service delivery across the region
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify operational risks and issues
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate appropriate resolution
- Support and maintain identity platforms such as Active Directory, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, LDAP, or related technologies
- Coordinate with relevant technical teams during major incidents and service disruptions
- Ensure incidents are appropriately investigated, documented, escalated, and resolved
- Identify recurring issues and drive problem management and preventative measures
- Work closely with global Identity Operations and other technology teams to ensure consistent service delivery
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective operational procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, reliability, and service quality
- Promote SRE, automation, and operational best practices

Required skills:
- 7+ years of experience in technology team leadership or management, preferably within an enterprise or financial services environment
- Proven experience leading and developing technical operations teams
- Demonstrated experience with performance management, coaching, mentoring, and team development
- Active Directory (AD)
- ForgeRock
- Ping Identity / Ping Directory
- LDAP / Directory Services
- Experience managing incidents, escalations, technical issues, and operational risks
