About the Role
The Broker Analyst sits at the centre of the broker channel, turning broker scenarios into settled deals. You'll be the first response when a scenario lands, structuring it correctly, driving it to conditional approval within a one day SLA, then working with the BDM team, credit and operations to convert approvals into settlements. Brokers judge this business on speed, straight answers and reliability, and this role is where all three come together.

About the Role
The Broker Analyst sits at the centre of the broker channel, turning broker scenarios into settled deals. You'll be the first response when a scenario lands, structuring it correctly, driving it to conditional approval within a one day SLA, then working with the BDM team, credit and operations to convert approvals into settlements. Brokers judge this business on speed, straight answers and reliability, and this role is where all three come together.
Responsibilities
- Pick up every allocated broker scenario quickly, assess it against policy, and give brokers a clear, honest read on what can and cannot be done
- Drive scenarios to conditional approval, chasing missing information same day and keeping brokers informed
- Structure deals correctly the first time, educating brokers on submission quality, required documents and bank data
- Deliver a consistently great broker experience on every call and email, responsive, straight and reliable
- Follow conditionally approved deals through credit, contracts and funding, working closely with brokers, the BDM team and operations to keep conversion on target
- Partner closely with the national BDM team to align on broker relationships, pipeline priorities and handoffs
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, logging all activity, scenarios and pipeline movement accurately
- Operate within credit policy, responsible lending standards and company values at all times
- Credit or broker support background in SME finance, cashflow lending or non-bank lending, comfortable reading financials, bank data and trading performance to pre-qualify a deal
- Fast and accurate under volume, able to keep quality high while working a real queue and treating an SLA as a promise
- Direct, commercial and credible communicator, equally comfortable with brokers and customers
- Strong CRM habits and follow up rhythm, nothing stalls because nobody chased it
- A team player who works tightly with BDMs, credit and operations, and flags problems early
