Product Manager – Digital Payments
Contract until end of May 2027 | $812 per day including super
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with exposure to online payments, digital payments or eCommerce to help shape and grow a key payments product in the Australian market.
You don’t need to have worked for a PSP, gateway or acquirer. If you understand online payments and have strong product management experience, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with exposure to online payments, digital payments or eCommerce to help shape and grow a key payments product in the Australian market.
You don’t need to have worked for a PSP, gateway or acquirer. If you understand online payments and have strong product management experience, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Own product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation.
- Use customer insight, data and experimentation to make better product decisions.
- Champion the merchant and customer experience across the payment journey.
- Translate commercial opportunities into product outcomes and growth.
- Work across Technology, Risk, Operations, Sales and Customer teams.
- Navigate scheme, PCI and regulatory requirements.
- Measure what matters - from approval rates and checkout conversion to activation, NPS and revenue.
- Bring your understanding of digital payments to help evolve the product and differentiate in the Australian market.
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in product management, ideally across online payments, digital payments, eCommerce, fintech or a related space.
- Any meaningful experience or exposure to online or digital payments - you don’t need to be a payments specialist.
- An understanding of how online payments work, from checkout through authorisation and settlement.
- Strong product fundamentals across discovery, experimentation, prioritisation, roadmap ownership and stakeholder management.
- A customer-first mindset, using research and data to drive decisions.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes.
