Purpose: The primary purpose of the Electrical / Mechanical Assembler is to assemble electrical and sheet metal sub-assemblies using a variety of special tools and fixtures to move products to the next level of production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build all components to customer specifications.
- Work to include, assembly of electrical components, assembly of sheet metal parts, soldering glass into cases, and induction brazing.
- Review electricals drawings for capability of quoting new work.
- Others as needed
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum one year experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience working with epoxy and or adhesives for assemblies a plus.
- Experience working with glass for cockpit displays a plus.
- Must have two years experience assembling electrical components.
- Must have two years soldering experience.
- Induction brazing experience a plus.
- Must have a minimum of one year of mechanical assembly .
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Must be able to take directions, work independently, or within a production cell.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must read and speak fluent English.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform visual inspections of product to corrected vision of 20-20.
- Able to lift 40Lbs. on a regular basics.
- Able to stand or sit for long periods.
- Must be able to wear PPE as required.
- Must work overtime as required.
