IT Security & Compliance Assistant

Our client, a leading Technology company, is looking for an IT Security & Compliance Assistant to support security compliance, audit, and risk management activities in a technology environment.

This role works closely with internal business teams and plays a key supporting role in meeting enterprise customer security requirements, audits, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support security audits and industry certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC, NIST)
• Assist in completing security and compliance questionnaires from customers and partners
• Review security-related clauses in commercial contracts and support risk assessments
• Support internal and external audit processes with documentation and explanations
• Monitor regulatory and compliance developments related to IT security and data protection
• Maintain security and compliance documentation and knowledge databases
• Respond to day‑to‑day security and compliance inquiries from internal business teams

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT security, technology risk management, IT compliance, or IT audit
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC, NIST, or similar standards
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and security controls
• Hands-on experience or exposure to cloud environments is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in both English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks under time pressure
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
