We are currently searching for a Category Manager – Raw Materials (Chemicals) to join our multi-national manufacturing client based in Barcelona.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy for the Chemicals category on a global level, leading a variety of core direct components
With its centre of excellence located in Barcelona, our client is offering the successful candidate the chance to work with a variety of stakeholders to assist with the Chemical Procurement processes.
You will have responsibility for facilitating sourcing processes in line with company targets across over ten sites globally.
Your role will extend to assisting with new product development, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and price management.
You will have a chemical industry background and be experienced in managing complex procurement categories on a global level.

- Circa 3+ years' working experience in Chemical Procurement
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage and interact with the wider business units
- Previous experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Strong Analytical skills is a must
