Description: MIG Welder / Potential Lead

Location:Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: On-call as needed. Candidates will be notified by Tuesday if Friday work is required.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a strong and established team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG welding experience and the ability to work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

We are also interested in candidates who demonstrate leadership potential** and may be able to take on additional responsibilities as they grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and 5% stainless steel
* Read and follow welding instructions, drawings, and specifications
* Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
* Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
* Meet production and quality standards
* Work effectively with team members and supervisors
* Communicate any quality, equipment, or production concerns
* Assist with additional responsibilities as needed
* Demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to support team members when appropriate

Qualifications

* Previous MIG welding experience required
* Experience welding carbon steel required
* Experience with stainless steel preferred
* Must successfully pass a welding test**
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable attendance and punctuality
* Ability to follow directions and work independently
* Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
* Leadership experience or leadership potential is a plus
