Our client, an established equipment rental business based in North Dublin, is seeking a Plant Mechanic to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied fleet of plant machinery, carrying out maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis, with training provided on specialist equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Service, maintain and repair plant machinery and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Work on diesel engines and powered access machinery.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of work completed.
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant mechanical qualifications or trade training.
- Experience in plant or similar mechanical maintenance.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of diesel engines.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is an advantage.
- Full, valid driving licence.
