Packaging Assembler

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare packaging products according to established specifications and work instructions.
• Operate production and packaging equipment safely after proper training.
• Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Fold, glue, assemble, package, label, and stack finished products as required.
• Identify damaged, defective, or improperly assembled products and notify the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Properly handle materials, finished products, and production supplies.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and assist with production tasks as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Complete required production and quality paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely around production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and lift.
• Ability to lift and move materials and finished products as required.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and normal production noise.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
