Responsibilities
- Provide seasoned clients with macro and micro-market commentary, high-level trade ideas, and strategic portfolio guidance across digital-asset products.
- Lead and deepen client relationships: advise on tailored trade executions, structured products, and liquidity solutions based on long-term trading objectives.
- Spearhead structured-product ideation and development: prototype bespoke exotics and alternative derivatives in collaboration with clients and internal structuring teams.
- Price, quote, and execute a wide spectrum of products from spot trades to complex exotics and multi-asset structured derivatives.
- Act as a senior risk steward: manage large position exposures, enforce strict risk limits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee trading support and operations: coordinate with compliance, operations, and risk teams to ensure smooth trade settlement, middle-office reconciliation, and reporting.
- Mentor and lead junior traders, quants, and analysts; work with quant and tech teams to continuously enhance pricing models, trading infrastructure, and process automation.
- Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce latency, and scale trading operations.
- Represent the trading desk during cross-functional initiatives and contribute to business development / client acquisition efforts.
- Support trading across global markets: manage trading shifts across time zones (including weekends, where required) and be available for high-priority flow clients.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in trading global markets, especially in FX Options or Cryptocurrencies.
- Proven track record in a senior Sales Trader role (or similar) at a financial services firm
- Extensive experience in risk management; managing large exposures, enforcing risk limits, and ensuring regulatory and internal compliance
- Strong client advisory skills; ability to advise on structured products, liquidity solutions, and strategic executions
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; able to work with complex pricing models and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication; able to clearly articulate complex product ideas and trading strategies to sophisticated clients
- In-depth knowledge of digital-asset markets and cryptocurrency trading, including market structure, infrastructure, and risk
- Resilient and adaptable; thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with experience working across time zones and supporting shift-based trading
