We are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Science Specialist to join a leading Australian enterprise on a high-impact data and machine learning project.
This role is suited to a hands-on data science professional with strong experience building predictive models using customer, behavioural, transactional or tabular data. The successful candidate will have a track record of taking models beyond notebooks and into real-world business use.
Key focus areas:
• Building predictive models across churn, propensity, CLV, uplift, recommendations or similar use cases
• Working with customer, behavioural, transactional and tabular datasets
• Productionising models into batch jobs, APIs, campaign systems or products
• Measuring model performance and business impact through holdout groups, A/B testing, lift, drift monitoring or incremental value
• Working closely with product, marketing, loyalty or commercial stakeholders
• Explaining model trade-offs, outcomes and recommendations to non-technical audiences
About you:
• Strong hands-on data science and machine learning experience
• Proven experience with customer or transaction-focused ML models
• Ability to own models through development, productionisation and optimisation
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect models to business outcomes
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a complex enterprise environment
