We are partnering with a large and complex organisation looking for an experienced AI Portfolio & Engagement Advisor to play a key role in identifying, shaping and progressing AI opportunities across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the intersection of business, technology and innovation — working with stakeholders to turn ideas into well-defined initiatives, build a strong pipeline of opportunities and help drive AI adoption across the organisation.

The Opportunity

As the key engagement point for AI opportunities, you will work closely with business leaders, delivery teams and governance stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, assess feasibility and business value, and guide initiatives from early ideation through to implementation.

You will be responsible for:

• Partnering with business areas to identify challenges and uncover high-value AI opportunities
• Facilitating discovery workshops, ideation sessions and stakeholder consultations
• Shaping AI initiatives, including expected outcomes, benefits, success measures and value propositions
• Managing and maintaining an AI opportunity pipeline and portfolio
• Supporting prioritisation, demand management and investment planning
• Coordinating governance, risk and assurance activities across security, privacy, architecture, information management and legal teams
• Preparing executive reports, dashboards, portfolio updates and briefing materials
• Supporting benefits planning, change readiness and adoption activities
• Helping build AI awareness, capability and repeatable approaches for identifying and assessing AI opportunities

The role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, with a strong focus on ensuring AI initiatives are strategically aligned, well-governed and deliver measurable business value.

About You

You will bring a strong combination of business engagement, portfolio management, strategic analysis and digital transformation experience.

Ideally, you will have experience in:

• Business relationship management and senior stakeholder engagement
• Portfolio, pipeline or demand management
• Business analysis and opportunity assessment
• Facilitating workshops and shaping new initiatives
• Digital transformation, innovation or emerging technology programs
• Governance, risk and assurance processes
• Benefits management and business case development
• Executive reporting and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
• AI strategy, adoption or emerging technology initiatives

You don’t necessarily need to be a highly technical AI specialist. What’s most important is your ability to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, ask the right questions and bring together the right people to turn ideas into practical, valuable initiatives.
