We are seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant to join the team at a thriving material management company located in Loves Park, IL. We are looking for someone who can perform in a fast-paced environment and who is self-motivated and able to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with strong organizational and time management skills. A team-player who can multitask and problem solve will fit in! We are looking for someone with 1-2 years in an accounting role.
Hours: 7:30am to 4pm, M-F
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hour
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
Document all procedures for this new position
Collaborate with internal and external teams
Print and proof invoicing and review it before processing
Proof invoice registers
Prepare pricing index each month and send out monthly reports
Apply A/R payments
Process inventory invoicing; reconcile balances at end of month
Other special projects as assigned
