Expatriate Fashion Design Lecturer

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious international higher education institution for an experienced Fashion Design Lecturer (Expatriate) based in Jakarta.

We are seeking a passionate educator with strong industry exposure who is committed to developing the next generation of fashion professionals. The ideal candidate combines academic excellence with practical experience and enjoys delivering engaging, hands-on learning in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical studio sessions in Fashion Design and related disciplines.
• Mentor students throughout their academic and creative development.
• Develop and assess coursework, assignments, and student portfolios.
• Integrate industry best practices into teaching and learning activities.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic quality initiatives.
• Participate in academic events, exhibitions, workshops, and other faculty activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in higher education or post-secondary institutions.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional industry experience and a strong design portfolio are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and fashion-related design software is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural academic environment is a plus
