IT Manager

Davidson is partnering with RMA Group to appoint an experienced IT Operations Manager to support its Australian operations from its vehicle assembly and warehouse facility in Mickleham.

RMA Automotive Australia is part of the global RMA Group, a diversified engineering, manufacturing and services organisation employing more than 8,000 people across 14 countries. Established through its partnership with Ford Motor Company of Australia to convert the Ford F-150 from left-hand drive to right-hand drive, the Australian business is now building on this capability to pursue a broader strategy across specialist vehicle modification, engineering and manufacturing solutions

This is a broad, hands-on IT position, supported by RMA Group's regional IT team and external technology partners. The role will have a strong focus on Pronto ERP, while also overseeing business systems, infrastructure, cyber security, vendors and day-to-day technology operations.

With a Pronto upgrade commencing, this is an opportunity to become the local SME for a critical business platform while continuing to strengthen the broader technology environment.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Act as the local SME for Pronto ERP, supporting administration, operations, processes, master data and ongoing system improvements.
· Support the upcoming Pronto upgrade and work closely with business stakeholders, external specialists and RMA Group IT.
· Manage day-to-day IT operations across business systems, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Azure, user access, backups and end-user technology.
· Oversee cyber security, compliance and technology controls, including Essential Eight and future ISO 27001 requirements.
· Manage technology vendors, SaaS solutions, service agreements, hardware and other IT supplier relationships.

Skills and experience – To be successful in this role, you will bring:

· Strong hands-on experience with Pronto ERP, including administration, operations, process and master data management.
· Broad IT operations experience across business systems, infrastructure, Microsoft environments, Azure and technical support.
· Experience working with manufacturing systems and processes such as MRP, BOM and EDI, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment.
· Strong understanding of cyber security, backup and disaster recovery, with exposure to frameworks such as Essential Eight and ISO 27001.
· Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to operate effectively as the standalone local IT lead.

Nice to haves:

· Experience supporting or delivering major ERP upgrades or transformation initiatives.
· Previous experience within automotive, manufacturing, warehousing or another operationally focused environment.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Mickleham, with a preference for five days onsite and some potential flexibility where appropriate.

You'll join an international organisation while taking ownership of IT locally, with access to an established regional technology team and specialist partners when required.
