QC Scientist

FRS Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a biologics company in the Mid -West Region to recruit for a QC Scientist . As the QC Scientist you will be participating in and providing subject matter expertise in equipment qualification, method transfer and routine in-process and release testing within the QC labs, in addition to other QC-supporting activities.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Analytical QC professional that is keen to take a step into a unique role where they will work on a range of projects focused on manufacturing of biological products at early phase clinical trials.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QC Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1 Participate in method validation and or technical transfer execution as needed.

2.Serve as a technical expert to develop, qualify, validate and troubleshoot HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, PCR and Cell culture assays.

3. You will ensure all aspects of QC work comply to GMP standards.

4. You will create and approve SOPs, report forms and specifications.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and work history:

1. Relevant degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry.

2. 5-6 years min industry experience working in a GMP facility, specifically in a QC department.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical assays such as HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis and PCR.

Hours of work : Days only : 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon -Fri
