Financial Accountant | Dublin | Hybrid

Our client, a growing and innovative organisation based in Dublin, is currently seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and driving continuous improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements
  • Support payroll and financial compliance activities
  • Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful business insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to support financial decision-making

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar position
  • Strong experience in month-end reporting and financial controls
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • A proactive, organised individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment
