Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: West Cork
Hours: Shift-based i.e 4 days on, 4 days off & 4 nights

We’re seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with a blue chip multinational food manufacturing company. Based 35 minutes from Cork City the Shift Manager job is key to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting the wider operations team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support your shift team to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, GMP, and housekeeping.
  • Oversee training, development, and performance of your team.
  • Monitor production costs and help drive efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with Quality, Logistics, Technical, and Maintenance teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement across quality, processes, and systems.
  • Manage HR-related tasks, including performance reviews and system updates.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing.
  • Flexible to work shift i.e 4 days on, 4 days off & 4 nights
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and production processes.
  • Experience with SAP/MES/SCADA (an advantage).
