About the Role
- Are you an experienced UAT Test Lead looking for your next contract? Our client is running a significant technology change programme, currently moving from design into build and implementation, and needs an experienced tester to lead business-focused acceptance testing.
- This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll own the planning and delivery of business acceptance testing, working closely with programme leadership to ensure the solution is genuinely fit for purpose before go live.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of business-focused user acceptance testing across a major change programme
- Develop UAT test plans, scenarios and test cases covering core business processes
- Coordinate and lead accessibility testing to confirm the solution works for all users
- Plan and perform legal and regulatory compliance testing
- Develop go-live business verification test plans
- Coordinate resourcing, environment access and data setup requirements with delivery partners
- Produce weekly test status reports and lead test management meetings
- Proactively escalate risks and issues to programme leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading small teams through user acceptance testing
- Extensive experience defining test plans, scenarios and scripts
- Strong grounding in standard testing processes, tools and techniques
- Clear, precise written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised and structured, with the ability to work independently in an environment of uncertainty
