As a Traffic Operator, you will play a vital role in the daily management of regional transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, scheduling fleet maintenance, managing driver activities, and overseeing transport office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and overseeing all regional fleet maintenance.

• Ensuring depot facilities are maintained and operational.

• Managing daily driver activities, including briefings and debriefings.

• Administering vehicle defect rectifications in compliance with legal requirements.

• Providing out-of-hours transport support as part of a roster.

• Monitoring driver compliance and ensuring adherence to regulations.

• Handling transport office operations, including call handling and vehicle breakdown recovery.

• Acting as a liaison between regional drivers and central business functions.

To be successful as a Traffic Operator, you will need:

• Strong planning and project management skills.

• Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong IT skills to support planning and administration.

• The ability to motivate and engage a team while ensuring regulatory compliance.

• A good understanding of transport regulations, compliance, and best practices.

• Experience in analysing data and providing reports for informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• CPC in Transport Management.

• Level 3 Supervisory Management (ILM or CMI).

• Previous experience in liquid fuel distribution or transport operations.
